Backup & Restore
Create and restore backups of your UniSync environment data.
Overview
Navigate to System → Backup & Restore to manage backups.
What's Backed Up
Backups include per-environment data:
- Agents and their configurations
- Automation assignments
- Published posts (WordPress and Astro)
- Categories and tags
- SEO data (keyword plans, campaigns, strategies)
- Token usage history
Creating a Backup
- Select the environment to back up
- Click Create Backup
- The backup is created and stored with a timestamp
- Download the backup file for safekeeping
Restoring from Backup
- Select the target environment
- Click Restore
- Upload or select a backup file
- Confirm the restore operation
WARNING
Restoring replaces all data in the target environment. This operation cannot be undone.
Backup History
View past backups with:
- Creation date
- Environment name
- Backup size
- Status (completed, failed)
Best Practices
- Create backups before major configuration changes
- Keep backups of production environments regularly
- Test restore on a staging environment first
- Store backups off-server for disaster recovery
