AutoPilot
AutoPilot automates agent execution on a schedule, enabling hands-free content generation and publishing.
Overview
When AutoPilot is active for an environment, it automatically queues configured agents at set intervals. No manual intervention needed.
How It Works
- AutoPilot checks each environment on its configured schedule
- Identifies eligible agents (configured, not already running/queued)
- Queues them for execution
- The regular queue scheduler handles the rest
Configuration
AutoPilot is configured per environment. Access it from:
- Run Agents page → AutoPilot button
- Configuration → Queue & Publishing
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Turn AutoPilot on/off for this environment |
| Interval | How often to run (e.g., every 6 hours, daily) |
| Max Posts | Maximum posts per AutoPilot cycle |
| Active Hours | Time window for execution (e.g., 8am-10pm) |
Eligible Agents
AutoPilot only queues agents that are:
- Assigned to the AutoPilot-enabled environment
- Have at least one automation or planner assignment
- Not already running or queued
- Not in an error state
Monitoring
- View active AutoPilot sessions in the Run Agents page
- Check session history and statistics
- Receive notifications on completion or errors
Best Practices
- Start with a longer interval (daily) and decrease as you gain confidence
- Set max posts to control output volume
- Monitor token usage to manage costs
- Use Human Review mode for Production agents to maintain quality
